In an effort to reduce the number of animals used at the University of Iowa, the IACUC has developed the IACUC-AnShare listserv. This listserv can be used for the following three purposes:

1. Request live animals or tissues from another investigator on campus
2. Provide live animals or tissues to another investigator on campus
3. Post animal related questions to your University of Iowa colleagues.

Who can participate: In order to participate you must be listed on an approved ACURF and have successfully completed, the required web training course.  Participants must have a University of Iowa e-mail address. Messages will not be sent or received to/from non-UIOWA e-mail addresses.

How to sign up: Send an e-mail to the IACUC AnShare listserv.  In the body of the e-mail, type SUBSCRIBE IACUC-ANSHARE. You should receive a computer generated message asking you to verify that you wish to subscribe. Once you are added to the list, you should receive two more messages (a welcome message and a you've been added message). These messages should be saved for future reference.
