To enroll:

• Email iacuc-training@uiowa.edu
• Information to include:
  • Principal Investigator's name
  • Requester's name
  • HawkID (e.g., jsmith)
• An email from ICON will be sent to the requester's University email address when enrollment is complete.

Already enrolled in the Animal Use Education Course (AUEC):

• Proceed to the ICON website and login
• Once a person has enrolled in the AUEC, access to all AUEC modules is allowed.  Any quiz may be taken after enrollment without requesting further access
• All WEBCT access has been transferred to ICON

Each person listed on an ACURF must pass themandatory Regulations portion of the Animal Use Education Course (AUEC).  Individuals performing survival or non-survival surgery must also complete the Surgical portion of the AUEC.  Both modules require passing the associated quiz.  70% is considered a passing score.  All other modules of the AUEC are recommended, but not required.  Please note that there is no quiz for the Euthanasia section.
