About NSF CAREER
The National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Program is the Foundation's most prestigious awards in support of junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research within the context of the mission of their organizations.
Assistant Professors are eligible to apply for the NSF CAREER award program if they are untenured until October 1 following the deadline. (The upcoming deadlines for CAREER proposals are in July 2014).
The session will be offered on Thursday, March 27, 8:15-10:30am in 1117 UCC, and will feature two panels of successful CAREER awardees and CAREER reviewers. The panelists will share their perspectives and take questions from the audience. The session will also introduce applicants to on-campus resources, provide successful proposal examples, and share with tips from the NSF.
