Overview of Project

Research Portal is one of the major sub-projects is to create a Research Portal. We envision that the overall portal will
  • create a single point of entry for investigators and support staff to access administrative applications for research
  • provide personalized information about the research project/study
  • provide important announcements related to research and funding opportunities
  • provide access to research forms, policies and procedures
  • provide links to knowledgebase help, training and education
  • serve as a framework for delivering applications and tools for researchers and administrative staff

The vision for the Research Portal is to provide a dynamic interface that will be the primary point of contact between the institution and researchers.

  • Integrate delegation of access from external applications including Pre-Award, Animal Operations, and others
