Electronic systems

 
UIRIS is comprised of several applications providing services in the areas of research funding, compliance, and administrative support. (Access to this system is restricted to UI faculty, staff and students).
 
eCOI is an electronic financial interest system that consolidates the annual disclosure requirements of several UI offices. All key personnel involved in research at UI are required to submit a disclosure form through this system.
 
Cayuse is a "system-to-system" alternative to the Grants.gov  submission procedure, licensed by the University of Iowa. 
 
The UI WINS process determines the best possible applicants for competitions that are restricted to a limited number of applicants.

Researcher Expertise (COS)
The University of Iowa works with the Community of Science (COS) to build and maintain electronic records of faculty/researcher expertise at UI. 

HawkIRB
The Human Subjects Office in collaboration with Information Technology Services has developed a web-based IRB application and review system, called HawkIRB.
