PROGRAM NAME Stanley Undergraduate Awards for International Research
OBJECTIVES Enable outstanding UI undergraduate students to pursue learning activities in international studies that are not available on the UI campus 
AWARD Travel reimbursement awards between $1,000 and $3,000 depending on merit and on travel and living costs associated with research project
CONDITIONS Students, in close consultation with faculty members, need to develop well-conceived, small-scale independent research or fieldwork projects on international topics, which require travel abroad.
ELIGIBILITY UI undergraduate students in good academic standing

OBJECTIVES For University of Iowa graduate students to pursue  international research/fieldwork and career interests
AWARD Travel reimbursement awards between $1,000 and $2,500 depending on merit and on travel and living costs associated with research project
CONDITIONS  
ELIGIBILITY UI graduate and professional students in any academic field--natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, arts, professional studies-- who are in the early stages (pre-proposal stage only) of conducting research abroad for master theses or doctoral dissertation (students do not need to be US citizens to be eligible)
NOTIFICATION OF ACTION By early February
