The ISRC offers the following:

• A university-based call and survey data collection center for original social science data collection
• Professional assistance in identifying appropriate funding agencies for faculty and student research
• Assistance in preparing grant proposals and budgets to produce high-quality submissions to external funding agencies
• Post-award assistance with grant reporting requirements, Institutional Review Board requirements, and grants accounting needs
• A forum for promoting the pursuit of interdisciplinary research on the UI campus
• Support for the development of research agendas and ideas
• Technical support for social science research projects on the University of Iowa campus
