Excellence in Undergraduate Research Awards

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for an award, a student must:
- be returning as an undergraduate for the 2008-2009 academic year;
- complete the following application; and
- submit all application materials by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2008, to the Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates Office, 401 Blank Honors Center.
APPLICATION MATERIALS INCLUDE
- Completed Application Form (Click to Download)
- Project Description: Provide an overview of the work that you (as the student) have been involved in. Please highlight the contribution of this work to your discipline of study and the role you played in the initiation or development of this work. NO MORE THAN 1000 words in length.
- Faculty Letter of Support: This letter will highlight the student’s research contribution or scholarly work. Indicate the importance of the work to your discipline, the strength of this student relative to others you have worked with and the independence of thought demonstrated by this student. NO MORE THAN 500 words in length.
- Resume: Submit a one- or two-page resume.
- Your unofficial transcript.

SELECTION COMMITTEE PROCESS
