The University of Iowa’s Henry B. Tippie College of Business and the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center have partnered to offer the Entrepreneurial Management Institute (EMI), a business consulting service, to Iowa employers.
The purpose of this program is three-fold: 1) solve problems for Iowa businesses, 2) educate professionals for Iowa’s future, and 3) provide recruitment opportunities for Iowa employers and students.
To broaden the consulting service offerings, EMI has collaborated with the Institute for International Business to provide international business consulting services, such as foreign market opportunity assessment, risk analysis, and export marketing plan, to small- and medium-sized Iowa companies wanting to expand globally.
Consulting services are provided by teams of 3-5 University of Iowa students and are under the guidance of a faculty advisor with extensive business experience.
