- The Iowa Student Internship Program provides grants to small- and medium-sized companies in the advanced manufacturing, biosciences, and information technology industries to help support their internship programs with a goal of transitioning the interns to full-time employment in the state upon graduation.
- The Iowa Innovation Associates (IIA) provides ‘real-world’ experience to qualifying undergraduate and graduate students by pairing them with Iowa businesses, start-ups, and academic and research organizations within the student’s field of study and based on their career goals. Students will be employed by the organization they are paired with and earn a monthly stipend based on 10-20 hours of work per week at $15/hour. Stipends will be provided to the employers to pay the students and will be supported by the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center at the University of Iowa.
