Are you interested in advancing the evidence of telehealth? Are you looking for collaborators to explore new dimensions of telehealth research? If so, the Rural Telehealth Research Center (RTRC) Speed Networking event is the answer for you! Speed Networking is designed to help you quickly meet new collaborators and brainstorm novel ideas leading to potential new avenues for your research and funding portfolio.
RTRC has been funded by the Office for the Advancement of Telehealth (OAT) in the Health Resources & Services Administration since September 2015. The collaborative agreement with OAT results in five one-year projects annually. Among RTRC's intentions for this event is to present the opportunity and process to propose a project that could be funded by RTRC to fellow UI telehealth researchers.
You are invited to participate in the speed networking event to meet others interested in telehealth research on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 1:30 p.m.–4 p.m. in S025AB CPHB. The afternoon’s agenda follows:
- 1:30-1:45 p.m.: Introduction
- 1:45-3:30 p.m.: Speed Networking
- 3:30-4:00 p.m.: Mix and Mingle (appetizers provided)
The Rural Telehealth Research Center Speed Networking event aims to achieve the following:
- Brainstorm potential multidisciplinary research collaborations around telehealth-related topics
- Explore current and potential partnerships and funding sources for telehealth research
Target Audience
Faculty from all disciplines interested in telehealth, broadly defined.
