POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER. Originally scheduled for Friday, January 17th, this event will take place at the same time on Friday, January 31st.

The Old Capitol Museum invites 3rd-6th graders to join museum staffers in learning about voting, elections, and the Iowa caucus process with a twist...It’s a special superhero-themed caucus!

Kiddos will experience Iowa's unique caucus system and the important role that it plays in picking our next President at this Friday evening drop-off program. Attendees will take part in a caucus of their own to get their favorite superhero the coveted Iowa "Hawkus" nomination.

Activities, a pizza party, a video, and the mockus are on the evening's agenda and your young, future politician or informed citizen voter won't want to miss it!

$25/student.
