Costco Wholesale

Costco's Giving Program

Program Summary

In keeping with Costco Wholesale's giving guidelines our warehouses and regional offices specifically support programs focusing on children, education and health and human services. The United Way, Children's Hospital and the Red Cross are a major focus in our charitable giving. Costco Wholesale is committed to supporting charitable and community activities in the markets where we do business.

Every program seeking Costco Wholesale funding is required to clearly define the purpose of the project or program. Provide details of what community needs this project or program plans to address and the expected outcome. It is essential that you describe how you will know if your program effected the intended change and realized the intended results.

Examples of support which Costco Wholesale does not provide funding:

Costco does not grant funds of more than 10% of the total program budget. We typically do not consider more than one grant request per fiscal year (September - August) for each organization.

To comply with the limitation of one request per fiscal year (September - August), please contact Diane Johnson  (diane-johnson@uiowa.edu or 384-3332) at the Levitt Center for University Advancement, if you are interested in applying.
