Build-A-Bear Foundation: Children's Health and Wellness Grant

Program Summary

The Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation believes in helping children and families by providing financial support through our grant program for programs that assist children with their general health and welfare. We desire that our gifts be used to provide opportunities for fun and friendship, to help children with special needs, to support health services for underserved populations, and to ensure a healthy future for all children.

We support quasi-governmental organizations such as health departments and state hospitals through 501(c)(3) organizations that have been set up to provide financial support for such an entity. 

Organizations are able to apply only once a year.  Grant requests will be accepted beginning in February 2013 until October 31, 2013. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year. 

Award Information

Grants will be a one-time contribution and range from $1,000 USD to $5,000 USD. The average grant is $1,500. Grant
requests should be in line with an organization’s overall budget.
