CDC: Research Approaches to Improve the Care and Outcomes of People Living with Spina Bifida

Program Summary

The purpose of this funding announcement is to determine what constitutes best practices for people living with spina bifida (SB) and to influence the provision of that care as well as needed educational/informational resources for the community including health care professionals, families, educators.

This FOA is comprised of three (3) components:

Eligibility

Only one application per institution (normally identified by having a unique DUNS number) per component is allowed. If an applicant organization intends to apply to more than one component in this FOA, applicant must submit separate applications for each component applying to.  For this announcement, applicants may not include collaborators or consultants from foreign institutions.

Award Information

Cooperative Agreement.  The estimated total funding for Component A, B, and C of this FOA (direct and indirect costs) is expected to be $10,500,000 over the five year project period.
