Researchers at the University of Iowa have developed a new dental instrument, specifically designed to form and sculpt dental resin composite filling materials during restoration procedures. This instrument provides many options to the user including the choice of instrument angle as well as numerous, interchangeable brush tip options. The purpose of this sterilizable tool is to provide additional control for the user engaged in composite resin shaping activities.
