University of Iowa research faculty, post-docs, staff, and administrators are invited to participate in a free regional webinar on research security from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (Central Time) Wednesday, Oct. 7.
Hosted by the University of Minnesota and other institutions in Minnesota, the webinar will be led by the director of The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), Kelvin Droegemeier, and is supported by the National Science Foundation.
Titled “Enhancing the Security and Integrity of America’s Research Enterprise,” the webinar will provide an update on recent activities undertaken by OSTP and others, provide examples of risks to research security that can harm the enterprise, and provide an update on steps being taken by OSTP and agency partners to address risks to security and integrity while maintaining an open and collaborative enterprise.
