The RDO offers several ways of connecting potential collaborators including orchestration of campus-wide initiatives such as Innovation Labs, Ideas Labs, networking surveys, and speed networking.

UI Research Services Fair

The Research Services Fair (RSF) is a vendor-style fair that provides an opportunity for researchers to learn about campus resources and services available for their research and scholarship activities. During the last RSF, over 60 campus units introduced their services to approximately 400 faculty, staff, and students.  This year’s event will be hosted at the IMU Main Lounge.

WANTED: Bold Ideas for Developing an NIH Climate Change and Health Center @ Iowa

We seek your bold ideas that will contribute to an effort in securing a NIH Climate Change and Health center focused on rural issues. Your ideas will be used to develop clusters of connected ideas and researchers to explore unique climate change health questions focused on rural issues important to Iowa and the Midwest. This is an opportunity to build new ideas and teams in the climate change and health arena with a focus on securing an NIH P20 exploratory grant.

Networking Surveys

To help facilitate networking and collaboration, the RDO has created Networking Surveys. The goal of the Networking Surveys is to create a directory to help identify potential collaborators for your ideas and projects. This collected information is being posted online, so that you may easily communicate with others as desired.
