Thinking about applying to externally funded grants in the humanities? Want to learn more about humanities funding opportunities and hear from previous awardees? Then this panel session is for you!

Event Information

The Research Development Office is hosting a humanities virtual panel session on Thursday, November 9 from 2-3 pm.

This panel session will provide an opportunity to hear from three accomplished award recipients from external sponsors in the humanities regarding their experience with the application process, need-to-know information, plus much more. Specific sponsors covered will include:

The Office of the Executive Vice President & Provost, Office of the Vice President for Research, and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences are hosting an awardee panel and networking session for Guggenheim Fellowship recipients on Friday, November 10 from 3:00-4:30 pm in UCC 2520D.

Faculty interested in learning more about the highly prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship, including how to submit a competitive application, are invited to attend. This session will include a welcome from President Barbara Wilson, remarks from Executive Vice President and Provost Kevin Kregel, and a panel discussion featuring previous Guggenheim recipient Melissa Febos, National Book Critics Circle Award finalist Donika Kelly, and other prestigious award winners. The panel will be co-moderated by Roland Racevskis, Associate Dean for the Arts and Humanities in CLAS, and Josh Weiner, Associate Dean for Research in CLAS.
