Starting on August 1, 2020, a two-step login process will be required to access several electronic research administration services, including: UIRIS, eIACUC, eCOI, HawkIRB, eIBC, eDSP, and myPortal.

This change is a part of an ongoing effort to enhance security on campus. Two-step login uses two-factor authentication to help verify the identity of the individual who logs in to a UI system.

ITS recommends downloading the Duo Mobile app on a mobile phone or tablet as your primary two-step login method. The Duo Mobile app is safer, faster, and the most reliable way to complete two-step logins.
