The Hubble Space Telescope is a powerful scientific data collecting tool, but perhaps the majority of us are first captured by the exquisite images of the Butterfly Nebula and the Tadpole Galaxy. At the UI Central Microscopy Research Facilities, their powerful microscopes are like the Hubble in reverse: dynamic scientific tools capable of drawing out beauty on an extremely small scale.
