Creative Matters is entering a new era—one that celebrates the extraordinary artists, performers, and creators who call the University of Iowa home.

Building on the success of Book Matters, the revamped series will feature University of Iowa faculty and staff in lively conversations and performances, pairing creators from different disciplines to explore the power of creativity.

Hosted throughout campus—from Voxman Music Building and Hancher to the Stanley Museum of Art and beyond—Creative Matters will showcase our people, our spaces, and the remarkable creative work happening every day at Iowa.

Creative Matters is co-sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research and Hancher. The events are free and open to the public.
