Event Information
This in-person panel session will provide an opportunity to hear from accomplished University of Iowa humanities award recipients regarding their experience with the application process, need-to-know information, plus much more.

Reception: 4:30pm-5:30pm
Speakers and Panelists
The session will feature welcoming remarks from Kevin Kregel, Provost and Executive Vice President, followed by a panel discussion featuring:
- Kaveh Akbar - Director, English and Creative Writing Major; Professor, English
- Paul Dilley - DEO and Associate Professor, Religious Studies
- Melissa Febos - Director, Nonfiction Writing Program; Professor, English
- Colin Gordon - DEO and Professor, History
- Donika Kelly - Associate Professor, English
- Luis Martin-Estudillo - Director, Obermann Center for Advanced Studies; Professor and Collegiate Scholar, Spanish and Portuguese
The panel will be hosted by Roland Racevskis, Associate Dean for the Arts and Humanities in CLAS, and Josh Weiner, Associate Dean for Research in CLAS.
Closing remarks will be provided by Kristy Nabhan-Warren, Professor, Religious Studies; V.O. and Elizabeth Kahl Figge Chair in Catholic Studies; Associate Vice President for Research, OVPR.
