The Office of the Vice President for Research recognized the accomplishments of postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduates at the first-ever Celebration of Student and Postdoctoral Researchers on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at the Englert Theatre. 

This year, one postdoctoral scholar, four graduate students, and five undergraduates received awards for their achievements in research, and the 80 students and postdocs featured in the Dare to Discover downtown banner campaign were celebrated. 

Regan Day, who won a 2023 Excellence in Undergraduate Research Award and is featured on a 2024 Dare to Discover Banner, and Kimberly Fiock, who won a 2023 Graduate Research Excellence Award and was featured on a banner last year, shared their student research journeys with remarks to the audience.
