The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) will continue its Book Matters series, launched in fall 2022, with three additional events this spring, including a reception to recognize faculty authors who have recently published books.

Eight College of Liberal Arts and Sciences faculty will receive grant funding through the Arts and Humanities Initiative, a grant program supported by the Office of the Vice President for Research.

Mark Berg appointed as interim director of the Public Policy Center

Mark Berg, professor and collegiate scholar in the Department of Sociology and Criminology, will serve as the interim director of the Public Policy Center, starting January 13, 2023. Berg is also the director and senior research fellow in residence of the Public Policy Center’s Crime and Justice Policy Research Program.
